Realme just shared exciting news about the upcoming Realme 12 Pro! Realme 12 Pro to have a new Sony IMX882 camera sensor, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. They revealed that this new phone will have a top-notch Sony camera sensor, similar to the Pro+ version. The regular model will feature an IMX882 sensor, while the Pro+ variant is confirmed to include an IMX890 sensor. You can already find the phone listed on Realme’s website, showcasing a powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

Even though they haven’t officially confirmed the camera sensor, many believe that the Realme 12 Pro will be the first phone to use it. Some insiders are suggesting it could be a rebranded version of the LYT-600 sensor, currently used in the Oppo Reno11 5G and the vivo S18e.
The main camera on the Realme 12 Pro is expected to be a whopping 50 MP, promising to bring a revolutionary photography experience. As seen in pictures of the Cream Gold version, the phone won’t have a periscope lens. Instead, it will rock three cameras arranged in a square formation with an empty circle.

Now, here’s the cool part: the Realme 12 Pro is set to offer 20X zoom, a bit different from the Pro+ variant’s 120X zoom, which some thought was a bit much.
