Meet Breeze Airways, an affordable airline that took flight in 2021. They recently announced 11 new travel routes on a Tuesday. What’s exciting about this is that they’re including three airports they’ve never flown to before: Denver International Airport (DEN), Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in South Carolina, and Mobile International Airport (BFM) in Alabama.
A good chunk of Breeze’s new flights will be seasonal, kicking off right as summer starts. These trips will take you to popular vacation spots, ranging from Myrtle Beach in South Carolina to the sunny Gulf Coast of Orlando, Florida, and the enticing landscapes of Southern California.
This big move is part of Breeze’s commitment to expanding its flight schedule significantly. According to careful analysis by aviation experts at Cirium, as reported by TPG, Breeze plans to increase its number of flights by about 47% in the first half of 2024 compared to the same time in 2023.
Now, let’s talk about the exciting part – the new routes will be served by the high-tech Airbus A220-300 aircraft, the pride of Breeze’s growing fleet.
The A220s boast a dozen seats in their top-notch “Ascent” cabin for a luxurious experience. Plus, there are 45 seats with extra legroom, similar to what you’d find in the main cabin on traditional U.S. airlines. And, of course, there’s a batch of 80 standard economy seats.
So, get ready for more travel options and enjoy the added comfort with Breeze Airways as they spread their wings to new destinations. Travel plans for 2024 just got a whole lot more exciting!
